The MC Stan vs Emiway Bantai saga began in 2018 when Emiway Bantai, a popular Indian rapper, released a diss track titled "Samajh Mein Aaya Kya" (Did you understand?), which was aimed at several other Indian hip-hop artists, including Divine and Naezy. In the track, Emiway Bantai made some derogatory remarks about MC Stan, which led to a heated exchange between the two rappers on social media. MC Stan responded to the diss track with his own song, "Khuja Mat" (Don't hide), in which he took shots at Emiway Bantai and criticized him for his lack of originality and skill.
